martin logan speakers

i live in los angeles county california. in the outskirts there is whittier where there is a mcintosh dealer which has been there since like 1950. they like martin logan speakers mated to mcintosh equiopment. i never asked them why but is there anyone out there who might know if martin logan speakers are a good match for mcintosh equipment.

That just happens to be what they sell so it is always going to be the best and for most people it will be as they have not heard anything better.

My personal opinion is ML does not pair well with tube power amplifiers as the panel is a capacitive load.  Mac SS power I'm sure would work well, especially with a tube pre.

ML helped me a lot to make a decision to go with Maggie in less than ten minutes.  It seems ML is targeting mass market.
