Opinions on Krell LAT-1 Speakers

Here is a review of them, they are not soft and gooey, more accurate and surgical.

 

Their impedance hovers mainly around 3 to 4 ohms. But they have a nasty 60hz load of 5ohm/-45% phase angle, which means you need an amp/s with good current, but because they are surgical in their sound, you’ll need an amp that’s also easy on the ear. The Parrasound JC’1 monoblocks with High class A bias switched on comes to mind for these.

I was always under the impression its best to buy amps/preamps from a manufacturer of those products, analog gear from a manufacturer of those products, digital gear from a manufacturer of those products, speakers from a manufacturer of those products. 
But I know some try to do it all.
