From the same era: Bryston 3B, GAS Son of Ampzilla and Quad 405. I have all three! They appeared in the late 70's. And are still formidable contenders compared to today's gear!
What is your amp Triad?
When I see posters asking about solid state amplifiers I usually recommend three of them, not because I like all of them, but because I feel they are different enough that a listener will definitely come out with a preference.
In the old days I might have said Conrad Johnson and Audio Research, one being euphonic and juicy the other cold and limp. (Let the flames begin!) as well as Tandberg for sheer drive.
