WA-Quantum GmbH's Quantum Chips

WA-Quantum GmbH's Quantum Chips has anyone tried these?

I have tried the fuse chips and I am quite impressed! How the ... ???

So, I went ahead and ordered chips for speakers, cables, and transformer chips. I also purchased a few more fuse chips to try on circuit breakers / outlets.
Heck, I may even try some of them on my Synergistic powercell.
Luckly they come with a 30 day return.

I have read Norm's positive review on Stereo Times.

Just wondering if anyone else has tried these.

Flashunlock, Still experimenting with placement of these little buggers. Funny how one type of chip acts differently than another.
Geoffkait, I have owned many of your products in the past, and I look forward for your opinion once you have tried the chips.
Thanks for posting everyone.
Chadeffect, I thought that my current system was soundng pretty good. But when I installed the fuse chips the improvement that I hear is the sound becomes calmer, rounder, with more depth. Voices take on a more natural sound. The bass seemed to get a little louder so I re-tweaked the settings on my JL subs. Really all positive and no negatives with this inexpensive tweak.

The other chips that are designed to work with speakers, cables, transformers are pricier so I have big expectations as to thier contribution.
I'll post more once I receive them and have them installed.
But if anyone else has had some experience with these chips I would like to hear your impressions.
Antigrunge, On my speakers, my plan is to blue tack the edges of the sticker to my speaker to find the right spot before I use the stickers adhesive.
Does it matter where I place the chips on the Transformer?
Just recieved all of the different chips.
First (temporary) place was on my Pass Labs Transformer... Wow!
As I experiment with all the different types of chips, I have noticed that putting a fuse chip on my Oyadide outlet covers provided a pretty substantial improvement in dynamics.
Flashunlock, Well I guess you gave it a try. I think you can still get your money back even if they have been used.
I'm still liking them. Soon, I think I will have over 40 of them. What I am hearing is way more dynamics and a much clearer soundstage. It just seems to get better and better with the more that are added.
On my powercell , I found that the best place to put a chip is on the Synergistic Gallo mini coupler. Big improvement all around, for now I am using a cable chip there, but perhaps a smaller one would suffice. I also have a cable chip on the Powercell 32A plug at the powercell.

I also have the large and small Cap chips on all of my Amps caps. In addition to these, I have the Transformer chips on all of my Transformers, 5 of the cable chips and the speaker chips on my speakers.

On the speakers, placing the chip higher up the speaker provides more air, and placed lower more bass. I seemed to find the best overall placement by putting them over the crossover. This placement surprised me, because the crossover is to the right of the speaker binding posts.

The others, Transformers and Cap chips, increased dynamics still further, and has a postive effect, a no brainer.

At this time, I am still playing around with the cable chips. I have a set at the end of my speaker cables but the others still haven't found a "best place"
Thanks guys for the info.
It is odd that different places on the speakers change the chips sonics.
Rja, Looking forward to what you think. For sure try the fuse chips and be prepared to shake your head in disbelief.
Geoffkait,I hear ya, it is a mystery to me.
I just keep ordering more and more...there is some magic power in them there chips...
Flashunlock, I have found that the fuse chips seem to show positive results right away. However, the others take a couple of days.
My system has become so dynamic with all of the WA-Quantum GmbH's Quantum Chips that I swear, I think I can knock down a fly in mid air with a single drum wack.
Flashunlock, that seems mighty peculiar. What does your system consists of?
Well, I have to conclude that in my system (using the Cary 306 Pro SACD) that the Capacitor chips and the Transformer chips were not a good thing. The sound quality actually sounded a little distorted and flat. I suspect that the digital circuitry just did not like these chips. But,I am still using the one fuse chip with it.

However, I now have 14 cable chips, 5 Transformer chips, 8 of the large Cap chips, 8 of the small cap chips, speaker chips, and many of the fuse chips and this is the first time I have experienced a negative reaction with the chips. Very interesting Â…
Any other comments?
Thanks for the replies, at this point everything sounds wonderful, so I probably won't experiment with removing any more of them.
The adhesive is a problem though; once they have been applied for a period of time and then removed they don't seem to stick as well elsewhere. Perhaps applying some scotch tape over them will work.

I still very much believe they have improved my listening enjoyment, but it just seems that the digital unit did not approve
Geoffkait , I would think the manufacturer wants to be able to resell them. But then, I still have no idea how it works.
Well, I just removed the cable chips that I had on all of my XLR HiDiamond interconnects, and to my surprise the music became more fleshed out. This is very strange since originally I thought it was much better. The HiDiamond interconnects are made with carbon internally, not sure if that matters though.
I still have the cable chips on all of my HiDiamond Power cords but with those they are attached on the IEC ends.
I have also found that on wall warts such as the Synergistic Galieo mini couplers the use of the Transformer chips is not a good thing. The Cables chips work much better on these devices. I am also trying a cable chip on my main breaker in my Circuit Breaker box.

Geoffkait, If you have tried the products please provide your actual experience. But, can you hold back all the smart a.. comments ? Thanks.
yeah, the weord quantum gets thrown about in this hobby quite often. Still, there is something going on with these stickers. I have placed one of the Cable chips with Blu Tack on my main house circuit breaker. Not sure how to tell if it is doing anything however. Perhaps my electric bill will go down?
Lacee, yes the fuse chips are the real thing and would probably improve upon any fuse type.

As I have posted earlier, I have a full complement of the different types of chips. I am now in the process of removing all of the cable chips from my HIDiamond cables. The chips seem to suck the life out of the music with these cables. IÂ’m thinking that this is probably do to the fact that the HIDiamond cables use carbon in the mixture with the copper.
Flashunlock, I've spent way more $$$ than you. At this point, I have removed all of the cable chips from my system. I think they are just too overwelming on my cables. But, I do think a cable chip on the main breaker is a plus along with fuse chips on the individual breakers that go to my dedicated outlets.

At this point, I still have the Transformer and Cap(large, small)chips on my analog equipment. And of course the fuse chips on fuses.
Well this weekend I may try removing them from my Analog equipment to see what changes.
It's odd though, initially they sounded great everywhere they were placed, but now that I have removed some the sound sounds better without them.
Ok, I have had plenty of time playing with these chips in various configurations and now I am able to conclude that;

1. The fuse chips were a positive on every component that they were placed.

2. Chips at the circuit breaker are a plus. I use a cable chip on the main circuit breaker and 3 fuse chips on the dedicated breakers to my Audio system.

3. Large solid state Power Amps and perhaps Preamps benefit with Transformer and Large Capacitor chips.

4. The chips of any kind on digital equipment (except the fuse chips) suck the life out of the music.

5. On my system with my HIDiamond cables the cables chips were too over powering and flattened the image.

6. The speaker chips work pretty well, but the placement on your speakers matters.

7. Too many chips in the whole system can degrade the sound by flattening the images.

This is how the chips performed in my system, and I hope it helps anyone else interested in these chips to aid as a starting point for their system.
Now that my 2 channel system is satisfied and set with the chips, I now have turned to my home theater equipment.

My Denon Reciever has 6 fuses. I only have the small capacitor chips left, do you think they can take the place of the fuse chips? They really look physically the same.
Ok, makes sense.
So, you are using some of the chips with the Qol? I had the Transformer and Cap chips on it for a while but I have recently removed them but I don't recall hearimg any hiss.
G_goodwin, I have both. That is, many of the chips and the Stein speaker match plus.
The speaker match plus is different than the chips.
Just ordered a Power chip, $99 bucks! Is the best place on the main circuit breaker?
Well I placed the "Power chip" on the side of the Main Power Breaker.
Is that The best place?
I wonder if it needs to be touching metal such as on the circuit breaker box...
Those of you with the power chip, your advise is appreciated.
Tbg, thanks for the response. I have found that 2 Cable chips on my Circuit breaker seem to add more dynamics, but I couldn't discern any change with just the Power chip.
Perhaps, I need to experiment further with its placement.
Following Tbg suggestion, I placed the power chip on the iEC just before my Audience Conditioner.
Bingo! Great powerful music.
Rja, I have a fuse chip on my each of my 3 dedicated circuit outlets, works great there.
For sure the fuse chips are a great starter chip, then I would say the power chip, followed by the large cap chips (if your amp has some large caps).
Well, I actually have 3 of the Audience aR2p-TO units.
But yes, apply it before it goes into the Audience unit. Perhaps even on the Audience unit itself would also be ok but I was a little concerned about attaching something stickey to it.
Well, I placed the new Power chip on my other Audience aR2p-TO unit that my preamp and Amp are plugged into and I think it was too much.
Hard to describe, but the music doesn't seem as relaxed. I also removed the power chip from my other Audience unit that powers my Digital equipment.
I think these chips are too close to the equipment.

Next, I will probably try them at the circuit breaker box.
Tbg , that may be true, but I did not like the sound and a moved them to the Circuit breaker box.

I have a power chip at the top left of the first row of breakers. Across from that on the right, I have a Cable chip at the top row of breakers.
At the bottom of the breakers on the left I placed a Cable chip and on the bottom right another power chip.
I must say I am thus far pretty impressed with this combo and placement.
I actually think my LED TV picture quality that is located outside of the Audio room actually looks better.

I wonder if other appliances throughout the house will benefit with this configuration. Perhaps better energy efficiency? With my luck though they will probable suck more juice and my electric bills will go up...
Mg8. I have placed various chips on my Hard drive but I din't notice any change.
Geoffkait, Why are using a cable chip instead of a power chip on the incoming AC wires.
Geoffkait, Try a Power chip and the cable chip on the breaker box.
I actually have 2 of both on my breaker box.
Geoffkait, Yesterday, I placed a couple of the Cable chips on the incoming power cables to my breaker box. Today, after a short listen, I must say the music does sound much more open.
Best place for the cable chips.IMO
Thanks for the tip.
I use the Cap chips on the end of the Caps.
I am also using a combo of a power chip and a cable chip 0n my circuit breaker panel.
I just went full monty on my new PS Audio P10 power plant.

I used a transformer chip, Power chip, 8 large cap and 4 small cap chips along with a HIFI Supreme fuse with a fuse chip.
Wow, it's only been a few moments, but wow, what dynamics! The stage seems to have deepened immensely.
Salinas212, I think once you cut them the electrons will leak out.
Just kidding.

I doubt if there is much difference in the products. Perhaps some are a little more powerful than others. But, to be honest I don't know what they are made of or how they work. Give it a try, I'd be interested.
Its amazing how we can change our minds about a product. I haven't used these stickers for years.

I only had one cable chip sticker and I wanted to try them on my speaker cables. VH Audio still has them for sale, so I ordered one more. Just received it today! Very fast shipping VH Audio seems to be a quality company that I will have to remember when I need some more stuff.

BTW, the cable chips are just as impressive as the speaker and power chips.
