VPI Dustcover Information

Those who have upgraded the Superscoutmaster arm from the 9 Sig to the 10.5 I and use the Gingko or similar dust cover... The cover has to be cut an extra 2 inches into the plastic exit hole on the right back side (the tonearm cable exit) to accodate the output junction box that now overhangs the back of the table. Also, the arm has to be removed (very easy with the VPI) and the cueing device must be in the "play" position to properly accomodate the dustcover. Its not such a big deal, but took me awhile to get the tact. Those who are/will buy new will have no such problem since any new one will be bigger and will be designed and built to the proper spec.
