Hello: Would someone please assist us with some information on the Gold/Copper composite record that was launched on the Voyager I and II missions in 1977. Specifically, does anyone out there know who manufactured the stylus that NASA included with the record; what kind of stylus would be able to track such a Gold/Copper composition -- e.g. a standard nude elliptical stylus -- and moreover withstand the merciless elements that now accompany Voyager I and II as they reach and speed past the "terminal shock" zone at a distance of more than 9.4 billion miles and 7.4 billion miles from earth respectively.
