I've been using the single-ended version of this cable (2020) and the Purist Proteus as my digital cables for many years. I just sold the Purist, as I felt, after it broke in (which was a long time), the Kimber was just slightly better in overall focus and high-frequency extension. Neutral, maybe just a shade toward the warm side (but not as much as the Purist), well balanced tonally and definitely not bright in my set-up. If you can pick it up used it's a good bargain.
