You must either think very highly of yourself or your just blowing smoke and evading the fact that Ted is here, which you wanted, and now you're staying at arms length from him.
With all the screaming in capital letters and exclamation marks, the insults and abuse you hurled at others, the posts you got deleted and threads you got shut down (and bragged about) because people stooped to converse with you on your level and then you went and played the victim, all of that was what, an act?

He's there for the taking and would likely respond to you. Instead, you take pot shots at him from afar on other threads. What's up with that?

There are activist groups, and then there are activist groups. To collectively join and agree to refuse to buy a certain product is one thing.
It's in the realm of a boycott.
To actively go beyond those bounds by harassing, intimidating, showing up in a companies lobby, or at the door of a medical provider, or storming the capitol of a state or country, is not being an activist group.
I do believe the law does not differentiate between physically being at one's doorstep and using other nefarious means to harm a business.

Prof is just using sophistry to further his trolling, having what he thinks is fun. He’s never been successful at it but one has to give him credit for perseverance.
Ever notice how most of his discussions are off in the weeds and straw man arguments, which he accuses others of? Then he gets way too semantical and turns phrases and wordings on their heads.

To hear some say that they've never tried a product and then go onto compare it with homeopathic products and the like is silly. SR products are out there for the sampling but that doesn't seem to meet the ever changing goalposts as now they want scientific documentation before they even consider listening to it?
That's what's called dealing in bad faith. When someone as steeped in audio who should have easy access to what they claim doesn't work (what with all their connections in the field) refuses to even listen to it speaks volumes to their inauthentic stance.
Going off into the weeds chasing red herrings and strawmen, arguing about something else other than the subject and conflating those results with the subject is again, doing so in bad faith.
Just listen to it.

George creates his own reality, as shown above. Being an incredibly abusive bully, his flagging of posts he doesn’t like has gotten many valid comments deleted, and he mistakenly celebrates this as having Admin on his side.
He’s done the same on other threads which have nothing to do with SR or any kind of tweak. It’s how he operates. One can disagree on an amp design and if he feels threatened, he has a post deleted. I’ve read where members have complained of this but to no avail.
If Admin were really against SR and their products, they’d speak out about it like they’ve done with political debates that’ve gotten out of hand. I can’t recall anytime that Admin has injected their beliefs on a product into any discussion. If George knows of any, he should point it out. George just wants us to believe that Admin is as bad an actor as he is.

Love your wine analogy as I haven't been to a tasting since the onset of Covid. Thankfully, on June 16th everything is supposed to open (in California) and maybe I can get back to my weekend love affair with all of those varietals. God, how I miss just that.
And you're right about how some people have WAYYYY better taste than others. I saw something on wine tasting some time ago and of a couple of thousand DNA combos available for taste, we only use about 280- 300 of them so no two people are alike and some are just plain superior due to the lottery nature of it all. It's what you're born with.

I've even gone on the record (many times) that I don't think anyone needs to pay anywhere near $150 for a fuse to get better sound so again, what's your problem?
And, it must be nice to have Admin working your corner as I've reported your insults for deletion and yet I get the notice that mine is being deleted, but they cite your abusive post (8 above this one) as the one that I wrote. Also, copping out with some demand of neutral territory is a red herring, at best. Everything looks to be out in the open. Swapping out items is done right in front of you. Does anyone think Ted has devices in his walls or anything as ludicrous?
I’ve been to audio shows where SR has done their demos. Yes, the differences were there and as evident as one could want. Were they better, or just different, it depended, but they were obvious. And yet, there were always some clowns whispering and laughing amongst themselves about how there was no difference at all. You know the type: like the ones in grade school who thought that saying it just loud enough to be heard but not out in the open made them a man because they got it out and no one protested.
Now, either they were tone deaf or of the mind to just flat out dismiss what they heard because it wasn’t big enough for them. Or, they had some know it all theory as to why and ran with that. Then, they come on forums like this and harp away.

PS: If lifting wire off the floor really affected the signal going through that wire, then anyone who lived in a house with a basement and had their speakers on the main floor wouldn't need them. Because the floor is already decoupled from the ground. Wha......? |
