Synergistic Blue

Has anyone had experience with Synergistic Blue 10 AWG on a tube preamp?

I use the blues on my phono preamp. Love the rich velvety sound. I also use the orange in my tube integrated with great results. You should definitely hear a difference with them.
Greetings,
I’m presently using the blue 10awg on my phono amp, Aesthetix I/O Eclipse. Have had no issues, sounds ok. Will switch to a different cable soon.
No you don’t need 10awg for the preamp. I got the cables for free at the time from SR. They had buy some orange fuses get some cables for free. To my eyes the SR blues seem to be nicely constructed. It’s also a good looking cable.

I first used these on my Melody tube integrated. Real effective, about equivalent to a pretty decent power cord. Same on my Herron phono stage, which uses tubes and is about equivalent to a preamp in terms of current draw.

Speaking of which, why you need 10 AWG on a preamp? First, AWG is gauge not amps, 10AWG would be solid core wire not a fuse. And if you mean 10A, that is an awful lot for a preamp. My Melody only uses 8A and it is a 50W power amp!
