Spotify,Tidal,Qobuz ???

Thanks to my new Oppo 205 i now listen to my local cable provider’s Stingray music channels, via my 2 channel music system. Very low res. However I love listening to pieces and seeing the Album, piece and performer info. Is there a high quality music provider that can give me this?

I love Quobuz for sound quality up to 24/192 and plenty of information to what you are listening to.
My experience with Tidal (Android app) is they show the album cover, no other info and they have a much larger rock selection than Qobuz.  Hi-res streaming using MQA is $20 a month. All albums are not available in hi-res but all are available in at least cd quality

You may be able to get more artist/album info using the Apple app.  I don't  know for sure but I know the Android app lags behind the Apple in development.

You can get a 30 day free trial  anytime and sometimes they run promotions that allow a longer free trial.
Since an app is used for control, I don't think it would output information to your tv unless your Oppo  came Tidal or Spotify ready.  Don't bother contacting Tidal for answers they'll just tell you to contact Oppo.
Apparently it is possible to use Tidal on Oppo 205 using a Tidal app. Checking into it.

Tv cable providers could make money by upping the quality of their music channels by charging just $2 or $3 a month. Millions of subscribers would pay.

Tidal HiFi Plus gives you up to 1411kbps audio (i.e. CD quality), as well as features such as offline functionality and access to Tidal Connect. Tidal HiFi Plus supports Tidal Masters with Master Quality Authenticated (MQA) technology, which increases audio quality to 9216kbps (i.e. high definition). This is also the level you must subscribe to in order to listen to immersive music in Dolby Atmos Music and Sony 360 Audio. To get free Tidal HiFi, you can use AudFree Tidal Music Converter.
