Not much of this genre's recent material has been released on vinyl. You may have better luck finding used vinyl from the early days, e.g., early Wes Montgomery, George Benson, Ramsey Lewis, Grover Washington Jr., etc. There have occasionally been vinyl re-releases of older recordings -- a goodly number of Wes Montgomery's albums are newly in print on vinyl.
Smooth or Contemporary Jazz on Vinyl?
Been considering adding analogue to my system but primarily listen to smooth, some call it contemporary, jazz e.g. Rippingtons, Boney James, Marion Meadows, and I am having trouble finding any vinyl dealers that care this genre' - anyone have any knowledge of where to maybe find such artists on vinyl?
