I had a pair of the downward firing type..a 12 inch in each. They were tight and clean but did not travel to the lowest frequencies. I never tried to eq these subs even though my system was bi amped. I remember them being a polycone material. Tom

I have a chance to purchase a ACI Titan II subwoofer for a good price. It was a kit model and at sometime someone put a black wrinkle finish on. I can fix that but it is over 10 years old. The manufacturer is out of business so I can't get any info. So is it to old to take a chance on the woofers condition and can anyone give opinion on this sub.
