Let’s make this a better community!? One final shot?

So, you're reappearing solely to ensure we fully understand just how "total" your lack of interest is ?

And individuals vary in their conceptions of what is "funny" and what is "abusive".  Some, for example, might not agree that the difference between the two is a "fine line".

That being said…there is no way to have fun discourse without sometimes stepping on toes…but I believe most reasonable people are aware of that line.

There's nothing you've written that I disgree with. . . and I don't happen to regard the smile icon idea as "stupid or juvenile".  It's said the greatest percentage of communication is non-verbal, so it's not difficult to see how "monkees with keyboards" could manage to do a pretty good job of misunderstanding one-another. 

Having said that, there are certain people here who repeatedly make the same type of condescending comments to others and apparently find it entertaining to do so. Their behavior does not help matters.

"Trying to make the world better by pushing your ideas, telling others what to do, or worst of all censoring and controlling, is like a monkey trying to fix a helicopter with a hammer. Give it up. What you can do however is straighten up and fly right yourself. You know your room is a mess. Go clean your room".

Does this mean we can look forward to you "giving it up" or does your advice only apply to the rest of us?
