The Rowland will be smoother than the Krell preamp. Bass response is amazingly controlled and even lower and deeper than my Placette Active which was amazing also for a single ended design.
Jeff Rowland Synergy 2i preamp.
I have a Krell FPB 300CX amp. I was woundering if the Synergy 2 or 2i would be a good match with the Krell.
I want a preamp to have good tight bass responce that is controled. also smooth none ear bleeding highs. Not sure if I should save up to go with the Krell kct. I am not sure on what the Highs are like.
