ISO McIntosh Integrated Demo Unit

Hi—

I am wondering if there are any McIntosh dealers on here that might have a integrated amp demo unit I could audition in my home. I am flexible on model. I am trying to compare it to a Luxman 509x I am currently trying out.

Thanks!

THEREIS NO COMPARISON THE LUXMAN IS MUCH MORE TRANSPARENT MCINTOINTOSG GEARIS WARM AND LACKS TRANSPARENCY
THERE ARE OTHERINTEGRATEDS THAT ARE BOTH WARM YET TRANSPARENT
Any others you’d recommend that have a mono setting? Luxman and McIntosh are the only two I am aware of.
McIntosh aggressively polices dealer territories, discouraging competition for out of area customers. So you really should be engaging with the dealer in your region to arrange a trial. Most will accommodate a serious inquiry by offering a demo loan for a short in home listen.
@audiotroy ,

Why the shouting And why are you bashing McIntosh?  A good Audio Dealer would never bash another manufacturers product.  For this reason, you are off my list of Audio Dealers for my next big purchase coming up very soon.  You should be ashamed.
I've not heard the Luxman but I have McIntosh pre & amp.

I would look at the MA 8900 or 9000.

I like my system and will readily admit there are some great quality products at lower price points.

I recently purchased a Moon by Simaudio DAC (280D) and if I didn't get such a great deal on my pre & amp as demos I would have been looking at them along with Rogue.
