Buy raw Audio Note ISIS cable and terminate myself?

Considering trying Audio Note ISIS interconnects but they are difficult to find used. HifiCollective sells the cable unterminated. If I have a competent tech terminate it, is there any reason it should not sound close to a factory pair? Guess I should use good rca plugs ... Not sure if they sell audio note rca's.

Resale would be sketchy, I realize.
Thanks for thoughts.

If you get someone to terminate them for you, check to see if they use a solder pot.  Audio Note litz wire has multiple insulated groups of wires in them and the best way to strip that insulation for termination is to dip the ends into a solder pot which burns the insulation off and properly prepares the wire for termination.  The Audio Note dealer in my area buys spools of some of their wires and terminates them in the shop; they use a solder pot with high silver content solder.  They also use the very nice Audio Note RCA jacks.  If you can get their RCA jacks, that would at least improve the resale value.
I would get the solid core silver IC's from PartsConnexion.

A little brittle, but I haven't heard an IC better. Put together with Eichman silver bullets

Best,
