May not go anywhere but how 'bout a compilation of all the weird abbreviations--more common lingo as opposed to standard technical; i.e. IMO-in my opinion v. IMD intermodulation distortion.

I see " LOL " a lot. I had thought that this meant " Lots of luck" but in some instances, it hasn't made any sense to me in the context that it was being used in( LOL) Can someone clarify?

TOTA: Tired of translating acronyms (insert clever little smiley face here composed of a semi-colon followed immediately by a hyphen and finally an end-parenthesis indicating the previous statement was intended as humorous content).

A couple of odd, but widely accepted ones are:

IC = interconnect (instead of integrated circuit)
PC = power cord (instead of personal computer)

Both are fine with me as they work in context.
