Amp for Martin logan CLS Originals

Hi,

I have been considering a couple of amps to pair with Martin logan CLS originals.

Any thoughts on the Mcintosh 2205(or other 200+ watt Mcintosh Solid states), Mark Levinson 23, Harmon Kardon 7.1 ?

Advice would be greatly appreciated.

I've tried them with amps 100W and up from VTL, Threshold, and Pass Labs with excellent results. My personal preference are with the Audio Research tube amps.

I agree with Reylon, the Macs is not a favorable match for the CLS.

You may try Spectron amps too as highly recommended by a friend who uses them to drive Analysis Audio panels with effortless authority and neutrality.
