Glanz moving magnet cartridges
Greetings ladies & gentlemen...you too Nandric :) Joking aside, hope all are well. Had an hour to kill so I just re-read all nine pages of this thread. Kinda fun. The "distortions" responses were tedious but otherwise fun. While some of my...

garrard 301 and its' restorations
Top of the spindle is no doubt bent. It is easily bent. One low and one high spot per revolution. Seen it too many times when the TT is shipped with the platter attached.
Any Allnic users out there? Hum problem.
Greetings Nandric. I am sad to read about your cartridge hum problem. Bummer. Do you have any other Glanz MFG carts? My MFG61(and all other Glanz carts) and Allaerts Formula 1 have no hum issues with any of my phonostages. I have experienced that ...
Any Allnic users out there? Hum problem.
What cartridge are you using? As said above, the issue is unlikely the H3000, it is the head amp causing the hum. I fought hum with my HA3000 when I used low output carts. My experience was that if the cart output was under .3 to .35mv, there woul...

Hello Nandric,So glad you have not forgot me! Harold, I wish I knew the answer to your question about the MFG-610LX vs the MF-61. Since I have zero knowledge of the 610LX, I can't help. I can tell you the MFG-61's owner manual calls the stylus a "...

Coincident Linestage vs CJ CT5 or Allnic L-3000
I am using the Absolare Passion linestage. I have had gear that utilized the 101D and may again. I have a lot of respect for the tube and know its strengths well. Someone else will have to analyze them for now but I am betting they are top flight....
Coincident Linestage vs CJ CT5 or Allnic L-3000
The WE 101D tubes are on their way.
Coincident Linestage vs CJ CT5 or Allnic L-3000
Do have a source for the 1:1 WE 101D tubes if anyone is interested. Unfortunately the price is in the same ball park as discussed.

Hi Dover, so glad to hear you are hearing what the '61 can do for your rig. I think mine continued to smooth out on top and deliver more vocal textures and bigger, tighter bass for around 20-25 hours. I wish everyone could hear this, especially Na...
