Check out these Teac components, they seem very nice and are certainly space-efficient:http://www.hifi4less.com/TEAC_Ref_300_DAB_Mini_System.htmGood luck!-RW-
Dual binding posts to non bi-wire speakers?
Sure, just put a jumper between the posts and attach your speaker leads to one of the sets of posts.-rw-

Gallo Reference 3!! Gallo Reference 3!! Gallo Reference 3!! The most amazing speakers I have heard in the last 10 years: superb imaging, very quick on transients, awesome soundstage. You *owe* it to yourself to audition these wonderful speakers.-rw-

Good choices in a used A/V pre-amp?
Let's not forget the Harman-Kardon Signature 2.0 - I've seen 'em here and on FleaBay for $250-300. Lot of bang for the buck...-RW-

Best way to store LPs?
Stand 'em up with their spines perpendicular to the ground and keep 'em in a temperature and humidity controlled environment and you'll be fine. Don't pack 'em too tight together and do not lay them flat.-RW-
Speaker Wires on Carpet
It's hard to imagine what, exactly, a carpet could do to alter the signal traveling thru a wire to your speakers. Just place 'em where you won't trip over 'em and don't run 'em next to any power lines and you'll be fine.
Recommendations for Music on DVD
Some that I enjoy:1) Bonnie Raitt Live - DTS - This sounds pretty darn good and Bonnie is lookin' good, too.2) John Fogerty - Blue Moon Swamp Tour - Excellent video, great sonics, John is in fine form.3) Yes Symphonic Live - Wow, great performance...
CD Burning: What Route Should I Go?
I just bought an external NEC DVD/CD burner off FleaBay and I'm quite pleased with the product. It handles virtually every type of media available (CD/CD-R/DVD-R/DVD+R/DVD-RW/DVD+RW) and comes with both USB and Firewire interfaces and cables. All ...
Still pondering Paradigms
Ummmm, as I told the last 'Goner who wondered about how a certain speaker sounds: get a pair from the dealer and take 'em home and see what they sound like in your listening environment. Anything else is mere supposition and speculation...-RW-
