| Nordost vs Shunyata speaker cables- and the winner is . . "Thicker" cables may be mostly dielectric shielding. The Nordost have none but I hear no noise or hum so is it even necessary ? My limited testing says no. As always YMMV. | |
| Nordost vs Shunyata speaker cables- and the winner is . . they are 2m and too long for this rig- 1m would have been enough. Guess I'll get a another shorter set. | |
| Nordost vs Shunyata speaker cables- and the winner is . . Bass had same punch with slightly better articulation - same with midrange. My system is very revealing, which I prefer. These just reveal incrementally more of just about everything. The only other complaint is the somewhat cheesy appearance ... | |
| KEF Blade One (non-meta) vs One Meta vs Blade 2 for large room I just got back to my other house with the WWP. I don’t think there is a comparison. They are just so holographic and dynamic compared to the Blade 2s. Yes it’s a different amp and the room is totally treated (same Revox source and tape) but to m... | |
| KEF Blade One (non-meta) vs One Meta vs Blade 2 for large room One area where they are def better than the WWPs is no having to keep your head locked in a 2” sweet spot - with the Blades you can move around, stand up, even lie down it seems. | |
| KEF Blade One (non-meta) vs One Meta vs Blade 2 for large room Ps wife loves them | |
| KEF Blade One (non-meta) vs One Meta vs Blade 2 for large room It’s too early to be disappointed and I know that there is much tweaking, room and otherwise, ahead. Solo piano shows the potential that I’m sure I’ll find but it won’t be by swapping out cables; ) | |
| KEF Blade One (non-meta) vs One Meta vs Blade 2 for large room Update: I recd the Blade 2’s and they installed in a temporary space while the house they are headed for is being worked on. The room is a concrete rectangle that is open on one side by a dining area. The room hard with a hanging slap back. N... | |
| KEF Blade One (non-meta) vs One Meta vs Blade 2 for large room I’m thinking the Blades will be the thin end of the wedge for another pair of Wilsons. Like Alexia Vs 🤓 | |
| KEF Blade One (non-meta) vs One Meta vs Blade 2 for large room Slight change of plans. Ordered a pair of Blade 2s in white The black 1s were a deal killer for the living-room. To power, a McIntosh MC 462. Front end; new Revox B77 Mk III. spkrs will be 6-8 weeks delivery. I’m stoked 🤓 | |
| KEF Blade One (non-meta) vs One Meta vs Blade 2 for large room I have an Accuphase E4000 receiver available to use for now but thinking more heft may be required. | |
| KEF Blade One (non-meta) vs One Meta vs Blade 2 for large room Thanks. I have a line on a new pair of non-metas and would have to wait months for one of the other iterations I posed. Looks like these are best choice for the room. Next decision- amplification? | |
| KEF Blade One (non-meta) vs One Meta vs Blade 2 for large room Thanks. Are those Meta or non that you have? | |
| Stereophile review of the new Wilson Watt/Puppy Had them for over a month now and still wowed by them. So much so that when I saw the WASAE center spkr for sale I bought it too. It’s astonishingly neutral and clear. The B&W HTM 1 it replaced sounded like a box by comparison. It wasn’t chea... | |
| Stereophile review of the new Wilson Watt/Puppy Just uncrated them yesterday Early listening yielded a clear tight sound with fast transients- and should only approve with time. Still on castors and just guesstimated placement. Plus It’s a new, bigger room than I had and needs treatment whic... |
