I've been posting on this site for 14 years never had anything deleted until today a bunch of stuff got removed.  
Why are my posts being removed.
My original subject was, after a long absence, I ended up in the forums and couldn't remember how to find the for sale part of the site. I criticized the layout of the site and it got deleted.  
Why are my posts being removed.
I saw what was deleted three times here only the word " because ".   WTF   What's up with this moderator???

Thanx for all the great replies. I'm beginning to get the picture on what some of the most popular brands are.Also, I may do a little research after all because there are a few brands I haven't heard of yet!

FWIW, I just opened the top to see if I cold easily disconnect the fan. Amp is now for sale on Audiogon.

Hmm will try some type of nose muffler first. Need to be careful of not allowing airflow. Any other solution involving opening the case will have to be done by my tech. $$$$. :<(

@kosst_amojan The Marantz 500 had all four power capacitors replaced and the fan repaired. The VU meters aren't working (and glass/plastic is cracked) but, no impact to function.The Marantz 3300 preamp could use a good cleaning. Pots, knobs and sl...

FWIW, I hooked up my KEF LS50 and REL sub to to direct comparison using the Marantz 500 AMP and Marantz 3300 Preamp combo. I liked the bass from that system better and it actually sounded pretty damn close in terms of which I liked better. However...

I've seen this a few times on this thread; describing sound as "Warm" or "Tubey" or "Vintage". Is that just a euphemism for rolled of highs and bloated bass?;^)@fasteddie99, i'll contact you separately.

Yeah, prolly won't hold on to this long though. Just wanted the amp to audition some Magnepans in house but had to take speakers and preamp too.If Maggie's don't work, might sell amp too.
