Anyone have thoughts on the nets as a viable option for speakers? Nets can make for an excellent means to suspend speakers! Getting them exactly the same height and angle would be the problem. The very best system I have heard in the 80's had spea...
Bits bits bits from Upscale Audio
Might as well make the same argument for analog to be..."Current is current." -- or --- "Voltage is voltage." Cables can make a huge difference!(so could, good ears) .
Equipment Rack Between Speakers...Good or Bad
One question? How does it sound?  Good? If you had a TT that can pick up vibrations I might show concern.
Sound quality vs. volume
Several possible solutions.   The speakers should have come with foam port plugs.   They are provided for a reason.  Using them might tighten up the speakers where you now hear mushy sound.   And,  do not be afraid to pull the speakers even furthe...

Why no Class D integrated love? (from manufacturers)
I understand how some having been exposed to cheap class D amps would react like they do. But, they failed find out about the excellent ones. I find that with a great class D amp in certain respects tubes will not be missed. There is one company t...

"I can power the speakers with either a PS Audio Sprout100, Anthem MRX510 or something I may buy in the future."You might want to sit tight for just a bit. In the near future PS Audio is going to be coming out with a "Sprout speaker." I have been ...
Has anyone tried the Audience Forte F3 power cord?
The component's stock cords will rob and steal dynamics and clarity. So?  If you are going to try a audiophile cable in your system? In able to hear the difference? All the other components that are still using their OEM cables will veil and muffle...
Why Power Cables Affect Sound
geoffkait13,634 posts12-16-2018 12:50pmSorry to inform but there is no electron transfer through wire. Electrons are for all intents and purposes stationary. What IS traveling through the wires is photons, which makes sense, right? You know, si...

Review: Nobsound Mini Fully Balanced / Single Ended Passive Pre-Amplifier
Ironically.... This Nobsound passive has become the standard by which I evaluate other preamps. I use the balanced connections. Listen with a Yggdrasil DAC, Audience 1+1V2 speakers, and a Nuprime ST-10. The balanced cables are WyWires blue. The No...
