price range. I have the 2M Black and love it with the Sutherland Hubble. It has lots of detail.
Anyone else noticing inflation in used gear $?
Sales seem to be slower. Prices are about the same.
Absorb or Diffuse in between speakers?
It takes the edge off the sound. More important is bass absorption in the corners.
Phono stage help
I just got the Sutherland Hubble. I agree with Luvmusic about the versatility and sound quality of Sutherland products. I was using an internal phono from BAT with the Vk-32se.
Does listening fatigue go away???
Every time I had listening fatigue it had something to do with the system. For example, I bought a new MM cart and had the gain set for a MC cart. After I changed the gain, the listening fatigue went away.
acoustic ceilings
Try RPG Hemiffusor's. They work best in a tight array directly overhead. They can be randomly oriented. I use Velcro to attach them to the ceiling. Then use absorbent panels for the first reflection points on the ceiling from the speakers. See my ...
MC versus MM. Which to choose.
I just got into Vinyl also. A friend told me to start cheap and move up. He said the TT is easy to break until you get used to handling it. I started with a Thornes TD 235. The first thing I broke was the stylus. Fortunately it was a $29.00 Sharp....

The right amp for my system
To get clarity you have to add acoustical room treatments to tame the early reflections.
Why do you Pick a Certain Speaker producer?
I picked Eggelston (Rosa) because they are located in my hometown, Memphis. It's nice to be able to watch the speaker being made. More importantly, the sound is incredible for a small speaker.

Power cords, AC line conditioners---preferences?
I use a Richard Gray RGPC 400 Pro and Transparent Audio Ultra cables. My wife is my double blind tester. She says it is a great combo. It gives solid Bass, nice highs and a blackground.

usual speaker advice question
I'd try a smaller Eggleston. I have the Rosa's in a room 24' x 13' with 8' ceilings. They are perfect for the room. If you want something a little bigger, with more bass, go with the Nine or Andra III.
