Why no trading?

With all of the buying and selling of members who just want to try something new and different, I am wondering why more people don't just trade items? I realize it would take just the right deal but I can't recall seeing an ad for trading of an item. What's your thoughts on this?

I'd trade our two cats for Natalie Portman but she doesn't even respond to my email.

Guess I need to run an ad here at Audiogon.

I laughed so hard the first time I saw this movie I almost choked.

My sister's 46, but here's the good news- she's a dead ringer for Ethel Merman! I don't wanna make the swap until after Christmas though, cause she's sending me some home made cookies :)
