Old Timers Advice Required

I felt sentimental today when I saw an ad for an original Apt Holman pre amp and amp. When I was in high school, I couldn't afford this gear and heard it demoed with Dalhquist DQ-10s and a Thorens turtable with an Infinity Black Widow tonerarm and a Denon MC cartridge. Sounded magical to me in 1978 but I am wondering if it would just sound like old junk today. Also, don't know the condition but any idea what these amps might be worth? Thank you very much.

Both the amp and the preamp have sold in the $350.00 to $400.00 price range in the past on Ebay. If they have been well maintained they should still sound good today. Holman also helped design the preamp phono stage of the Advent 300 receiver which sounded mighty fine in in 1976.
Christopher, the previous response hits it right on, some of this stuff is good stuff. I had, and still do have, a Thorens TD-125 Turntable which to this day is in perfect operating order. I have had other turntables, but I have never had the courage too sell my Thorens. I love it! Having said that however, I think that speakers, in particular have made tremendous advancements over the past ten years. At any rate good listening and enjoy it all.
