We have a couple groups of enthusiasts here - one oriented more toward 2-ch and the other more HT - that meet with some frequency. Let me know if you are interested.

Another good option is the Piedmont Audiophile Society. More geared torwards tube stuff, but there is a DIY Sunday school every week and meetings every so often. Contact me for more info.
