Qobuz still messed up

Takes forever to load upon start up and then stops, long pause, and then next song in playlist starts, or rather stutters, stops and the process is repeated. Pretty sure it's Qobuz and not Roon since it happens with both Roon and MConnect. Pity.

@kirkwallace I wanted to clarify - the Haydn Minuetto movement ends at 3:51 with 4 seconds of silence. It’s not an interruption. Not a drop out. It plays for me with zero issues. No issues at all with anything from Qobuz.
listened using jplay to my Meitner dac.

@audphile1 re Hayden, seems to be consistent re east coast vs west.

@ghdprentice apologies for the delay, i will post the Schumann info so you can find it.

And this just in arrived my email inbox from Qobuz:

Hello,

Some playback issues are currently affecting Qobuz, particularly when using certain applications or audio quality settings.

Our teams have identified the source of the problem. It is related to a caching anomaly within our content delivery network (CDN). In some cases, certain servers may temporarily deliver incomplete or corrupted audio files. As each audio quality corresponds to a different file, switching quality can sometimes resolve the issue by loading a correct version.

We are actively working on resolving this situation. Our teams are currently identifying the affected tracks and progressively clearing the cache. Improvements should be visible very soon.

We sincerely apologize for the inconvenience and thank you for your patience and understanding.

Best regards,

Marina

Qobuz

So, it still a CDN issue and it will affect some users and not others. but at least they are working on it.

@ghdprentice here are the 2 Schumann tracks i was having trouble with the other day. But they play without any problem today.

@kirkwallace I think switching to tidal will cure your issues. Does Qobuz sound noticeably better than Tidal in your system?

@audphile1 with the same recordings, they sound indistinguishable to me on my systems. The reason i like to have both is that they each have some recordings that that other does not.
