Longevity of ownership

Do you have any gear you have owned for over a decade?

Ha!  Almost all of it.  My Ohm speakers were purchased in 2009.  My Thorens 'table I bought new in 1984.  My McIntosh preamp I bought in 2010.  My Vandersteen subs I bought around 2006.  The only things newer are my Denafrips DAC, and my SonicOrbiter server with Sonare UltraRendu streamer.

  1. Ohm Ls - 1978
  2. Dual 1264-1981
  3. Linn Axis - 1987
  4.  Carver TX11a tuner - 1996
  5. Denon Dl103R - ~2007
  6. Ohm F5 series 3 and Walsh 2 series 3 - 2008 (replaced older Walsh 2s from 1982.
  7. Electrocompaniet Step Up Transformer - ~2012?
  8. DNM Reson ICs- ~ 2012?

Also various newer speakers, amps, DAC.

I have an Electro Research 357 VII serial #10007 (mint condition) that I bought from John Iverson at his shop in Orange CA around 1973/4,

4 Electro Research 340 speakers,

Thorens 126MK II

SME tonearm

Win Labs SDT-10 MK II Strain Gauge Cartridge complete system

Hafler DH-101 pre-amp

Dennon CD with gain control to bypass pre amp - CD disc to amp.

I’m in my 80’s now and have enjoyed it most of my life but it’s about time to find a loving home (homes) for it all.

Why? It's a memory test!

I’m the second owner of a pair of 1976 McIntosh C28 and MC2105.
ADS L1590, Rega Planet 2000 and RP6 TT. All still in use and loved. Now I want to find an MC2205 and bi-amp the speakers with a Sublime K231.
