How AI fixed my Bryston integrated’s crashing problem

AI gave me the answers that Bryston tech support could not. 

Really? Who did you speak with at Bryston?

I’d rather not say. But suffice to say the amp was exhibiting a multitude of symptoms that, looked at as a whole and without ignoring anything I wrote, AI was able to help me whereas Bryston rep just ultimately said to send them the amp. They also said they would likely have it a while, like months, as they were backlogged on repairs. I now know from AI the symptoms were built in protective measures and not progressive damage. And it told me what to do to mitigate symptoms.   Humans get impatient with long descriptions whereas the AI takes in to account everything you tell it. 

And I’ll add the person I spoke to at Bryston has been there a long time, is knowledgeable as well as caring and a good listener. Have used him to troubleshoot in the past. Know and like him.

I’ve used AI to figure out a number of complicated issues that are waaay outside of my field and beyond my expertise. It has solved every one with a good solution and an equally good explanation of why it works along the way. You have to keep an eye on its logic as sometimes it takes a wrong turn, but I’ve always been able to notice it and steer it in the right direction.  I’d imagine, at some not too distant future, AI will become much like the telephone in the 40s & 50s..sort of a stock household item.  It’ll be a standard way of managing an increasingly specialized world.
