@macg19 How is that T3X treating you? Probably more burned in at this point, if you believe in such things (I do). Hopefully your enjoyment is only improving with time.
Seeking Recommendations for a Streamer (No DAC)
Hi All,
Unfortunately I could not get an Aurender N100h to work with my BlackIce Glass FX Tube DAC so it's going back.
It's a known issue with Aurender, they even have a "bug fix" built into the app but in my case it didn't work.
I'm looking for a dedicated streamer, no DAC, optimized for USB to replace a NODE N130.
Budget is ~$1,000 used.

@tubeguy80 I'm really happy with the T3X. I did a mini review here on AG. Much more detail, more dynamics and better soundstage, but smooth and musical (no glare), and dead quiet. More bass but not boomy. Now that I think about it it is quite tube-like in terms of presentation, but with way more information, without the inherent distortion which is of course part of the reason people are drawn to tubes. |
