CD/SACD player Under $4000

I've seen suggestions on using an SACD transport but I believe getting the DSD layer out of it is  into a DSD capable DAC is quite challenging due to lack of industry standards on I2S pinouts ?  Has anybody had much success with getting DSD layer out into a DSD DAC ?  Experience ?  I've asked Paul of PSAudio to discuss this (I2S transport and DAC caveats)  for the last several years and am still patiently waiting.

i use a Geerfab D.B.O.B. It works great to get the DSD layer using I2S.  

I have 2 lightly used SACD/CD players that I had recently serviced for much less than that if you want to PM me

@boltapuresource Geerfab is a breakout box that uses audio/video HDMI, found in BluRay and other audio/video  players.  Its HDMI is not the same as HDMI (I2S) used by the more traditional SACD players.  Plus, I suspect you are actually not getting true DSD layer??  I am seeking to get true DSD64 out of the pure SACD Transport into a DSD DAC.
