Best practices to clean the binding posts on your speakers and amps?

I'm moving my speakers around again due to a low WAF where they are now and It's been a while since I cleaned the binding/plugin posts on my speakers and also on my amps.  I currently am trying banana plugs to hook up my speaker wire, and I want the best contact with a smooth, clean connection.  What do you guys do?

Caig Deoxit is a popular audiophile choice. Haven’t checked recently for the latest products.

Careful cleaning plated connectors to not rub them off.

Clean first with IPA (Alcohol).
Caig Deoxit D100L to clean, G100L to protect, maybe use IPA between. Some kits have both.

I live on beach and can tell you the way Ive had great luck disassembling as far as you feel comfortable, then microfiber or white scotchbrite as most aggressive (being careful not to scrub off plated metals) by using the 5% deoxit red spray can to clean as much residual dust and oxidation as possible, then I’ll finish with the 100% deoxit gold formula in the nail polish container to protect and it lasts at least 6 months to a year. Absolutely worth the effort to keep everything looking like new.
