Changing audio beliefs

I am a pneumatic footer user under Speakers and as I have quite a number of these footers as a same model. I have been in a position to loan them into other systems.

Some who have experienced my footers went for Townsend Sledges and eventually the Podiums. A selection of others went the Gaia route.

A lesser group who indirectly went for Townsends are now using Stack Audio Auva's.

 I am an advocate of pneumatic footers, and from assessing a selection of speakers on their own suspension footers. I do not detect too much that is discernible, where the notion is that a much-improved performance is created across a selection of different designs. Within an audio system at a certain level, it is the small things that are the night/day changes.

Not all who have used suspension-type footers state that there was something valuable experienced and wanted to be maintained. 

A Good thing to know is that a version of a suspension footer can be created very cheaply, and a lot of what can be achieved will be put in place.  

@buellrider97 Thank you for the kind words on my system. All my Klipsch speakers have Crites or Volti crossovers and tweeter upgrades in them and the La Scala's have Electro Voice woofers. The stories of your musical escapades left me jealous but content with my own memories. Thanks for that. Truly. Home stereo is a small but important part of the musical journey for me. The inhabitants of the world of music have always been my favorite part of this adventure. The kindness that amazingly talented musicians have shown me and my family for 50 years has helped to leave me a very contented person. I hope this for all.

Bugs me that people believe that issues inherent to analog cables somehow translate to USB or Ethernet. Some people actually believe there is stream of bits from data server to their streamer....

I initially believed cables made a difference. Then decided it was mostly marketing because I could not really hear any appreciable difference. And then over time, while improving my listening abilities, was fortunate to have a truly well made speaker cable in my system for a week, and a well made power cable in shortly after that. 

And now I am comfortable having every belief I have questioned, because what I may not be able to hear does not preclude its existence.

How arrogant it would be for me to believe otherwise.

And the single biggest change to my belief system was coming to understand that the boxes matter less than how they are brought together with everything else that supplies and most especially, grounds power.
