Review: Mad Scientist White Magic Interconnects

Allowing the full burn in to complete with my new AC power cord, then I'll remove the previous Mad Scientist's Black magic and install the new Mad Scientist White Magic Interconnects. Could there be an improvement? Not holding my breath. But I read about the new super secret material being used and read a crazy impressed review so, I had to know! Tomorrow I'm putting them in no matter what. Just want to be settled on what this new power cable has done before I move on. Curious? me too

8 Months later....Still hearing new stuff, better sound altogether. Very impressed with these interconnects. Most "cable" upgrades seem to get familiar far too quick. Like a pebble into a pond, a splash of improvement then the rapid familiarity of "better but not impressive" feeling returns. Not this time. Maybe the fabled "break in period" has finally been realized as these "White magic" cables continue to impress with new details and balance. And a wholesomeness or cohesivenesss that brings it all together in a natural relaxing presentation with less desire to analyze and more of a pleasure while also being intrigued by the stunning detail. (Sorry for the awkward sentence there)

Finally completed everything together by installing the missing link of the interconnect from DAC to transport. Previously had both White and Black magic in system. Now with both making the complete chain everything is even clearer and nicely more 'alive" sounding in that top edges of upper frequencies are crisper. But now after a week of burn in everything seems more relaxed and less veiled. When I'm adding new stuff to my system I have a dozen CD's which I am VERY familiar with. Any changes/improvements are readily apparent.

Allears4u, can you also review the Primeda interconnect? I feel you have the system and the time to do it? It’s available at Amazon .Thanks

Good idea! I see they are really cheap but magic can happen sometimes in the synchrony of various components. I'd need to order both sets, from DAC to amp and from transport to DAC. I'll see what I can do. Sounds like a good experiment. Thanks Jayctoy
