Speaker cables - cables make a difference
Happy weekend,
I have some PAD speaker cables I had reconditioned
and burnt in a little. They just opened up this listing session
I just hear that live small group, rock/ folk, Live sound.
its not as deep, and delineating, but you get more the other way.
I like them both. Reminds me of going to a show. Happy Loving
This Hobby.

yep…. every single time. I have yet to get a reasonable response to that. Bias can, and does happen, but I don’t think it’s permanent, and certainly isn’t the answer to every subtle change we struggle to measure meaningfully, yet can still hear with sufficient time on a resolved system that we know well |
@degalbraith77 I'd start here if you're just beginning to dabble: https://www.bluejeanscable.com/store/speaker/index.htm I went with the BJC Ten White when I started my cable journey about 15 years ago. I'm not discounting boxcarman's experience, just saying I noticed a meaningful difference versus the bulk Monster Cable I had before. I have since moved on in my 2 channel rig, but if you can swing Acoustic Zen to get going, not a bad place to start. I don't own any, for the record, but many people enjoy them. |

@degalbraith77 I opted for some affordable Monoprice 12 gauge 4-conductor OFC cables. They’re similar to Canare, Mogami, Belden, and several other brands, but tends to cost less. Can’t say as though they’re better than my Cardas or Kimber Kables, but they’re darn good, and are way better than the crap copper clad aluminum (CCA) that was in there. |
