The closest quality integrated that I am aware of in your budget meeting your specified "SE or Parallel SE" requirement that would be a good investment and something that would last a long time is the Audio Note Cobra.  Of course, it will be up to you to make sure Loudspeaker matching is properly done given the output. 

The other option would be to find a used Audio Note further up their Integrated Line - which would go for about half of the retail.  Keep us posted on your moves. 

I’m fairly sure any Class A Single Ended amp is going to immediately convert any balanced input to single ended. So, I would not rule out balanced to single ended wires/adaptors. That will open up your options greatly.
