If a tree falls in the forest…

I’m just listening to an incredible sounding new performance of Strauss’ Alpine Symphony with Edward Gardner and the London Philharmonic, which is shaking the room. The clarity, transparency and impact is thrilling.  Yet the only one who hears it besides me is my wife, who thinks I’m looney.  I just wish someone else could hear what I’m hearing.
 But alas, it’s just me.

I am pretty sure that God was listening. That is why he knocked over the entire forest for you. Enjoy your time with such joyous sounds.

No, The consumers is Jurowski.

Look for Edward Gardner.  It’s a new recording. Tidal may not have it yet. Qobuz does.
