Seeking a New Power Conditioner

Tuesday, the Puritan Labs PSM 156 Furutech version arrives.  Should be interesting as I've the Furutech GTX wall plug with carbon fiber faceplate and that really did make improvement.  All Futurtech receptacles in the newer version should make further improvements.  We'll see.  Fingers crossed.  I'll report.

The Puritan Labs 156 Furutech version has arrived replete with great double boxed gash.  Breathe.  No physical, mechanical or functional damage noted so far.

Note, physically taller than my previous Puritan Labs, so the great rearrangement ensued.  Life riddled with First World problems.  Preamp relegated to bottom shelf of Quadraspire Reference X stand.  Furutech top shelf.  Now all cables ‘hang’.  Chunks of kept wood pieces to the rescue as spacers.

Now everything looks Rube Goldberg.  Review to follow.

I just upgraded the cord to my Niagara 3000 

I find it somewhat off-putting that when one invests in a conditioner, they have to spend significantly for a high quality PC. 

My PSM 156 came with the “Ultimate” PC. I love how floppy that PC is. No problem fitting behind the PSM 156 and no worry about it transmitting vibrations. Not had the Niagara in any of my systems, but the PSM 156 seems to work very well with my Spatial Raven preamp and my Gato PWR-222 monoblocks. (Worked great with my CODA CSiB v2 before that.) (Obviously, those amps, unlike yours, are solid state, but they are both pretty high current.)
