Shaggy rug Pet-friendly alternative to a shaggy rug for room acoustics?

Yep @ghdprentice we walked our puppy every few hours for about 2-3 weeks and she was trained. Dogs are smart. And she always went to pee on the pads if we were away or if she couldn’t hold it thru the night. She’s 3 and a half now and is trained not to go near my system. Stays right about where the chair is, next to me, and falls asleep when I’m listening. If she doesn’t like the music she’ll walk out. 

Never allow someone else's dog into your home. Dog owners are worse than toddler owners. 

They laughed and thought it was cute.

Can’t help you with the dog, but there are recommendations regarding what rug or carpeting works best to tame first reflections off the floor.

I use a half inch cut pile wool rug on top of a 3/8 inch felt pad.

My daughters old boyfriend parents came over our house for the first time and brought their dog with them. He ran right up to my amplifier and pee'd right into the vent holes onto the electronics. I couldn't believe my eyes at the stream he produced. They laughed and thought it was cute.

I'm like the puppy every 2 hours I gotta go😃.enjoy the shag ,carpet pad and get a blue light and waterbed.maybe a disco ball.that will keep the relatives away.
