I appears it already happened and I just missed it. Thanks for brining this up and I did notice it was over $6900 for many companies. I think I paid maybe $6300 a few years back. I did notice it was $7900 for a couple of places. I thought that was strange.
Aurender big price increases soon
For those that didn't see this it was announce on 1 June that effective 1 July, Aurender will be making big increases in prices. I've already noticed some places have started these increases early. If you were on the fence buying one of their products you might want to pull the trigger now. One place had the N200 listed for $7900. That's a $1000 increase by itself.

@retiredaudioguy I wasn't asking for recommendations and wasn't shopping for a streamer or DAC. I just misunderstood that the Aurender price increase already happened. Hopefully people who were looking to purchase from them already bought one. My guess is this will also impact the used market prices. I'm very happy with my N200. |
Price increases are everywhere. Very unfortunate to those on fixed income. In 2022, I was bummed at the post Covid 5k price increase from 9k for Volti Rivals (now at 22k) which was out of my budget. Luckily I found/purchased a mint used pair in budget with my ideal favorite finish birdseye maple- it was fate.

@willywonka my apologies if I upset you. But I think that $$ are better spent on the DAC and not on the streamer, if you use USB and get the DAC to do the work. Just my thoughts as a (retired) techy - and audiophile, I switched from an Aurender to Eversolo, because I listen almost exclusively to "classical" music, and Aurender does not support Presto. There has been zero degradation of SQ when I use Qobuz. Aurender makes an absolutely first class set of products but I think they are now definitely overpriced. If a user likes I2S then perhaps Aurender will give better results than lesser streamers.
