Tidal removed one of my favorite artists

The band Ace, famous for thier 1974 hit ’How Long’ , no longer have their albums on Tidal. Sad face. Can anyone confirm removal from other platforms? I’ll switch providers to get my Ace back.

Music can come and go from the streaming services, as labels and distributors dictate. Sometimes an album is deleted in favor of a different version that won't be detected in a saved playlist, so it pays to poke around.

Qobuz still has the album. Did you do a search on its title, "Five-A-Side?"

I did find them through a hard album search. They were nowhere in the artist section. Never had this happen before. Thanks for the input!

@ten_ton_bass it’s there on Tidal. When you search for Ace, make sure you click Artists and not leave the default search which could be song, album, etc

I’ve had the references to songs that I added to playlists unexpectedly changed on both Tidal and Qobuz.  I’ve always been able to go find the original and add it back in though, I’ve never lost an artist.

"one of my favorite artists"

@ten_ton_bass - 51 years ago this summer I went to see Yes in concert and was treated to three outstanding supporting acts, Dave Mason (RIP), Peter Frampton (just b4 Comes Alive was released), and a band I didn’t know too much about called ACE. I certainly didn’t expect that the best vocals I would hear that day would come from a singer I was not that familiar with, Paul Carrack with ACE.  He has gone on to play and sing with some great artists, including this outing with Eric Clapton (link).
