Conversations such as this one are meaningless. Nobody wins, everybody loses. These conversations inevitably turn into name calling, which is not constructive, nor do they help move the conversation forward.
Contributors are on one side or the other - subjective or objective.
Neither opinion will ever convince the other side.
A really good topic that everyone can enjoy without taking sides is a far better use of the space on this forum.
This is a truly sharp-witted and rational realization.
At one point, I was fighting fire with fire. Now, I am fighting fire with water.
To destabilize and eventually put out the flames of ignorance and sheer disrespect.
Others may disagree with my beliefs about all things audio, and they are welcome to. However, I am not going to try and convince the naysayers that I'm right and they're wrong.
As a matter of fact, we are always learning more in this hobby. It makes sense to stay curious and help each other out, rather than get in to pointless conflicts.
I'm always glad when you post because you make sense and have a grounded way of responding to others.
