In an airport lounge waiting for a flight. I noticed the music being played was exceptionally good, especially for such a large open air setting. The bass was tight with great dynamics. Very pleasing sound. There was a pair of Devialet, one left side of bar and the other on the right side maybe 30 feet seperated. Great sound. I don't know how they would sound in someones living room but they worked really well in the lounge.
What's the Verdict—Serious Question about Devialet Phantom
While perusing European real estate sites, I sometimes see the Devialet Phantom speakers, usually staged in $10M+ apartments. I’m wondering if they are actually audiophile material or just a shiny furnishing for the average million/billionaire pied-à-terre casual music listener. I don’t have any interest in buying these, but I am curious. Thanks!
