What are your top three live concerts of all time?

In no order:

1) We Five at John Carroll University 1966

2) Gordon Lightfoot at University of Michigan 1971

3) The Four Seasons at John Carroll University 1968.

So hard to really state the “best” concerts that I have seen, since there have been so many good ones, and always under some sort of “influence” , But I have to say, one of the absolute best shows that I have seen was The B-52s at the Paradise Theater in Boston in 1979, just after their first album came out. Tiny venue, sat with members of the Cars and Aerosmith at the Arista Records table about 5 ft from the stage.  They were absolutely amazing!  Other standouts in my mind:

1. Shakti at the Berkelee Performance Theater in Boston in ‘77 (I think).  Stunning. I mean, so intense that It was almost too difficult to take.

2. Crosby Stills Nash & Young at the Boston Garden on the Four Way Street tour. (the album made from that tour says it all!)

3.  Pink Floyd Wish you Were Here Tour at the Boston Garden, ‘75.

4. Emerson Lake & Palmer, Boston Garden, Brain Salad Surgery Tour.
