I was thinking the same, roughly 2028 plus or minus a year. But who knows with the way things are going. One thing you can be pretty sure of, the pricing will likely be 20-30 percent higher on each D5 model compared to the D4 counterparts. That's just the way of things I think.

It seems like it's mostly cosmetics and minor subjective high frequency changes between all the versions. All the upgrades they've done is more for microphones and computers to discern. The average ear and room would have a hard time discerning the differences.
I believe Devialet measured the 802 D2 having the lowest frequency response at 13Hz. The D1 14Hz and D3/D4 15/17Hz. Basically all the same. https://www.devialet.com/en-us/expert-pro-sam-ready-speakers/bw/ |
