Rockport Avior II's in 19x24.5 room?

I am interested in purchasing a pair of Rockport Avior II speakers for my listening room, but I am concerned about its ability to pressurize the room.  Thoughts on this concern?

I have a vtl 7.5 tube pre amp and a mc12000 read the review. It is i think the best tube pre with ss amp but each his own. Ive seen the Vinny Rossi stuff but not heard it. Maybe someday when I get a chance to go to an audio show. Class d is comming of age with the ganfet.keep up the good work. Tubes soft clip and have different  harmonics that's why we like it. Ps bk 600 ps 12000 that I have. Enjoy the music

The Aviors are advertised as having 9" woofers.  They are measured along the curve of the cone, not the diameter.  They are more like 6.5" in diameter.  They do go low but I don’t think they’ll pressurize your room.  You’ll probably need a sub for that.

I’ve seen some used rockport Cygnus’s at resolution av today.. those should do what you need as if I’m not mistaken they share drivers with the Lyra

@mckinneymike I saw your note about being interested in a pair of ARC Ref 250SE monoblocks. I have a pair, in natural/silver that I am about to put up for sale on Audiogon.

Fantastic amps, which I been feeding from an ARC Ref 10 Linestage

Message me if you are interested.
