Why for the life of me I can’t stay awake when listening to Music?

I really don’t understand how someone can stay all night long listening to music? I read reviewers saying I started listening for hours till 2-3 in the morning. Well, I am 62 yo and as soon as I play music man I feel sleepy. I don’t think that is listening fatigue, it must be the opposite of it. I become so relaxed and my eyes start shutting down lol. Is that normal? Is it my equipments that makes me feel so relaxed or is it my advanced age? Can I do anything different to my system?
I am not sure if this topic came up before and may sound silly but I thought I ask in case someone else on this forum has the same issue.

My system:

McIntosh c2700

Mcintosh Mc 452

Revivalvaudio Atlante 5

Garlubidor divinity dac

Eversolo T8

Thanks for sharing your experience and input in advance!

I’m sure, you won’t be always sleepy in live-band cafe.

It’s the listener’s fatigue. The sound of your electric audio system is broken and severely distorted even if you don’t hear it. In fact, our ears and brain hear those bad sound always. They just convert these unlistenable sounds to enjoyable sounds. It’s the trick of human brain which needs 10-100 times more processing work than hearing the natural sound. This is hard work and you become sleepy.

Here’s proof. Your audio system sounds distorted/noisy like the left speaker below. Test your audio system saying "Hello" with your speaker sound like below. Alex/Wavetouch audio
