the one that got away - how do you handle grief?

I just lost a bid for my dream speakers that I had been chasing for a decade. It was pretty stupid because I missed the last hour and maybe I would have won it with another $100. But maybe it's a sign, it's just a piece of hardware, that I should not be obsessed with. - "you can't always get what you want"

Did you always get the gear you thought would make you whole?

You should have put $100 increases automatically or just paid asking price if you wanted it that bad .

I had lost a bid on a Aesthetics Saturn preamp lost by $25. I would have gladly paid the $100 more I had forgot to increase it before I went out .
if you wan5 something that bad just pay the asking price if it is fair

it saves you all the frustration later, as I get older I don’t have the patience .

I just try to buy it  presently I have several surgeries  coming up ,

for next year New Wilson  Sabrina  V or watt puppies  next fall my goal . Then no more speakers,  being retired finances too tighten .
