Origin Live Alliance tonearm

This is an impressive very inexpensive arm, less than $ 500.  Level below Origin Onyx and Silver.

I am looking at upgrade options:  Would be nice to stay below $ 2,000.

The Wand from New Zeeland

Audiomod from UK

Higher level Origin Live from UK.  Onyx, Silver and above.

All arms look great on paper.  Anything else, prefer Rega mount as the Alliance is Rega mount.  Please share your experience.

I own both an Origin Live Silver 3a and a Conqueror 3c. IMHO the goodness starts at the dual pivot arms, so Encounter and above.

I also had an Audiomods Classic, which is different than their TOTL arm. Sold it on.

Have never owned a Roksan Nima, but have set one up and it is a sleeper. Lower effective mass though. Very good tonearm. Best of luck.

Haven't checked their prices lately, but an overlooked brand is Funk Firm. I own an early FXR....it has the x-bracing in the tonearm tube.

I own a Origin Live Agile, and the dual pivot architectures is superb. This is a fine arm, but resides in a different price point. I cannot speak for their other arms.

I have 10.5" and 12" versions of the Audiomods Series 6 Evolution arms, and to me they are one of the best values in the analog world. Excellent performance, and built to a level that is needed to achieve it, nothing over the top that provides bling. You get great value with this arm. The 12" is a stunner.

I sold off my Schroeder CB-1L after getting the 12" Audiomods, and I sold my SME V when I replaced it with the Agile.
